HANOVER, MD – Dalila Sosa, assistant general manager of Hampton Inn & Suites Arundel Mills/BWI was recently presented with The Spirit of Pride award, which is Hilton’s most prestigious team member award. The honor is given to those team members from around the nation who continually make a positive impact on guests, fellow staff members, his or her hotel or the community.
Sosa started her tenure at Hampton Inn as front desk supervisor prior to the hotel’s official opening. Exemplary customer service and a “can do” attitude ensuring that internal and external operations run smoothly and efficiently have highlighted her employment at the hotel.
In addition to her numerous responsibilities as assistant general manager, last summer Sosa organized the hotel’s volunteer efforts for Hampton’s Save-a-Landmark project at the Enchanted Forrest in Ellicott City. Her commitment and dedication is demonstrated when she helps helps her employees through personal issues as well as when she pitches in to make sure that guests catch their planes on time by driving the shuttle bus to the airport herself.
“ Dalila is everything that you want in an assistant manager and a trusted friend,” says Christopher D. Guerrero, CHA, general manager, Hampton Inn & Suites Arundel Mills/BWI. “That’s the perfect combination for us. Dalila is truly a champion of the Hampton Brand and keeps all team members, including me, on track with connecting to our guests and adhering to the benchmarks that make this brand so special, ” he adds.
