J. William Bello, President and COO

J. William Bello is Skye Hospitality’s president and chief operating officer.  He is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the company’s seven open hotels as well as the development of the properties that are currently under construction.

Mr. Bello has a track record for escorting construction of hotels from the design phase through the grand opening and beyond as well as large scale renovation projects.  He has written project scopes, managed capital expenditures, and overseen the construction of multi-million dollar building projects.  Mr. Bello has successfully managed the design, construction, furnishing and staffing of seven hotels since joining Skye Hospitality.  Three are located in White Marsh, Maryland.  Three are at Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, Maryland and one is located in Baltimore City next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Prior to joining Skye Hospitality, Mr. Bello was with Marriott International for 25 years.

Mr. Bello is actively involved in the local community and serves on the board of directors of the Essex Community College Foundation.
